Hi Jennifer, I’ve been thinking about resurrecting the sewing machine to make home made masks. I know they’re not as good as the real thing but they might be better than nothing especially if I make a few and we can throw them away after use. .

Any ideas ?
Lisa, it might be worth phoning a local store that sells air purifiers to find out about the HEPA replacement filters. That’s the fabric you need, I think. Let me know how you get on: this is not something I’ve explored (at this stage)

HEPA filter fabric is what is used in lots of air filters (and some airconditioners). I’m looking for some sites that sell it…
