A cool start to the morning walk, and early enough to catch the sun rising over Adaminaby from the Yaouk Road.
Early enough, too, to see kangaroos along the road. This one seemed to be waiting. And then took off up the road as if showing me the way.
And just as I was about to turn for home, here was another one. There were two others as well.
I was surprised to see so many in full sun, comparatively late after sunrise. I was grateful that there were no cars about.
