It will be very hot across most of NSW and the ACT today and tomorrow. It is very windy here at Adaminaby, and I’m hoping that there are no bushfires, or grassfires. I was dismayed this morning to find a cigarette butt discarded along the Yaouk Road. Yes, it was on the road, but literally only centimetres from dry grass. And no, it hadn’t been butted out. It had burned out. Sigh.
On a happier note, me and my new friends the bushflies enjoyed our 10 kilometre walk. It wasn’t unpleasantly warm, the sky was blue and (at that time in the morning) there was no wind.
Here are some of the sights we enjoyed:
Cows, blue sky and more trees!
