Adaminaby, NSW. 2/5/2017

This morning, I could imagine an antipodean setting for ‘Wuthering Heights’.  A few trees on a skyline, dominated by brooding clouds.  In some places, along the Yaouk Road, there is open grassland and distant hills and mountains.  In other places, the ones I photograph most often, there is a combination of scrub and grassland with some magnificent trees.  I love the trees.

Snow is forecast today, not down quite as far as this.  But it’s definitely autumn, with more than a hint of winter.
